In addition, the TNEPDS website provides online updation/Correction of Ration Cards. The Smart Ration Cards are also available at the official site of TNEPDS. The following are the details of functions that are required to be updated or corrected.
- Change of Address in Ration Card.
- Name or Member Deletion in Ration Card.
- Name or Member Addition in Ration Card.

Change of Address Via TNPDS Ration Card
Changing of Address will be important when you change the residence. It is important as the Ration card can also be acted as Proof of Address document. Just follow the below procedure to update your address details in the Ration card.
- Visit the TNEPDS Official website portal through https://www.tnpds.gov.in/.
- On the homepage, go to the “Correct Your Smart Card” option.
- Click the “Correction of Details” option under that Section.
- On the following page, you will have the login section as shown in the below image.
- Enter your Mobile Number and Captcha Code and click “Submit”.
- Mobile Number should be one linked with your Ration Card.
Then you will be redirected to the page with the New Address Columns. 
Member or Name Deletion In Ration Card
The procedure of deleting a Name to your Ration card is quite an easy procedure. This also comes with the services provided by the TNPDS correction form. The steps of the procedure are mentioned below.
- Visit the official TNEPDS site with the link mentioned above.
- On the Homepage, go to the “Smart card Related Services” section.
- Click on the “Delete Member” option under that section.
- You will be redirected to your Ration Card login page.
- The page will be like the image shown above.
- Log in to your account and select “Delete Member” on the list shown.
- Enter the details of the new member in the table as shown below.
After that, you have to add Proof of Identity document of that family member. Not only Upload the document but also check if it is a fake one.
Submit the Application form online on the website.
Member or Name Addition in Ration Card
This procedure is very much similar to the above procedures explained. You just have to log in to the website with the help of your Mobile Number.
- In the same way, select the “Add Member” option on the following page.
- Fill in the details of the member you wanted to add to your Ration Card.
- Add the Proof of Identity Documents of the Member for Verification purposes.
- Additionally, Submit the application online after checking all the details filled.
After processing all the details in your application, you will be given a Ration card with the newly added member details linked to it.
