Assam Ration Card Eligibility 2022
The person having no ration card:
The eldest woman of a family who is a bonafide citizen of this nation with a yearly family income of less than Rs 1,00,000 may petition for acquiring a new Ration Card under NFSA’13 provided the person fulfils all the criteria to be eligible as a beneficiary under NFSa’13.
In the absence of any adult female member, the eldest male may apply for the same. In this case, the individual must produce a certificate from the Village Head/Gaon Panchayat President/Ward Commissioner/ Inspector, FCS&CA / Concerned Authority in writing that the person is having no ration card.
Duplicate Ration Card:
In case the ration card is lost or become damaged, mangled, unintelligible or otherwise furnished unless, for no liability of the holder of the ration card, the accountable administration can assign a duplicate ration card after encumbering the appropriate fee.
The person having a ration card of a different location:
This is relevant in the case of Government officials or other persons who are shifted from one place to another. In this scenario, the Surrender Certificate is required from the concerning FCS&CA authorisation of the place from where the person was living beforehand. This document is to be attached along with the ration card application form.
Entry to be made after marriage in the ration card:
In this case, the Deletion Certificate is required from the foregoing place of habitation, issued by FCS&CA authority. This document is to be attached along with ration card application form and ration card.
In case of a birth of a child:
For the inclusion to be made in the ration card, the birth certificate of the child is needed along with ration card in which the accretion has to be made along with the application precisely handwritten or typed on a plain paper addressed to the FCS&CA authority.
