Maa Bhoomi Maa Panta 2019 – TS Farmers Survey | MBMP

Maa Bhoomi Maa Panta MBMP 2019 is a scheme that was launched by the Telangana State Government. It is a scheme that comes under the Agricultural department of the state government. The main objective of this scheme is to handle and survey all the agricultural strips of land.

This scheme was brought into the fray in order to curb fraudulent activities and other corrupt stuff. Landlords often get away with this fact by giving a lower number of the area that they own on papers.

This is specifically done in order to evade the rightful taxes and stash up that black money cabinet. With this maa bhoomi maa panta scheme 2019, it is hopeful that the records will come out clean and the government of Telangana won’t suffer from too many losses in the revenue sector.

Maa Bhoomi Maa Panta – Rythu Hitha 2019

Considering the plight of the farmers in the State, Government of Telangana has come up with a new concept. This is the mainframe of the Maa Bhoomi Maa Panta MBMP scheme on the whole in general.

The Telangana State Government will be contributing Investment Support Scheme, Maa Bhoomi Maa Panta providing at Rs.4000/- per acre each season to all farmers (for both Agriculture & Horticulture crops) to meet the requirement of the cost of

  • Seeds
  • Fertilizers
  • Pesticides
  • Other investment in the field operations

of farmers’ choice in the crop season from the year 2018-19. If the farmer cultivates land during Rabi also, then he will be eligible for another amount of Rs. 4000/- per acre.

A detailed farmer-wise survey about Maa Bhoomi Maa Panta (Rythu Samagra Survey) was taken up by the Agriculture Extension Officers (AEOs) of State Agriculture department in coordination with the Revenue Department in the months of May-July, 2017 by contacting the farmers at their doorsteps and prepared the list of eligible farmers.

It was reported that some more revenue related issues to be resolved (such as succession cases, Sada Bainamas etc.). Sada Bainamas can be explained as non-legal land transactions.

In this case, quite a few poor farmers buy their land from rich landlords using the Sada Bainamas method. In the end, because of the non-legality of this whole procedure, they don’t end up getting all the benefits of the government and do face issues with the registrations, sometimes.

Rythu Samanvaya Samithis 2019

The Chief Minister of Telangana, after holding several meetings with Revenue and Survey departments suggested conducting a farmer-wise survey in a campaign mode again by constituting Revenue teams with the coordination of Agriculture & Horticulture Departments.

It was done to finalise the farmers lists revenue village-wise and to collect the actual extents of the area owned by them by conducting the Gram Sabhas, duly resolving existing grievances, which can be amicably settled by mutual consent, from 15th September to 15th December 2017.

  • The lands not fit for cultivation and all Non-agricultural lands are not to be considered under the scheme.
  • It was also decided not to touch the complicated cases, lands under litigation etc in the first phase.

The scheme of investment support will be implemented by the Agriculture Department under the leadership of concerned District Collectors from the year 2018-19.

Crop colonies are being promoted for increasing productivity and marketability to achieve self-sufficiency and also prevent farmers from the practice of monocropping. It is also planned to provide Rs.500.00 crores of a revolving fund to the State level Rythu Samanvaya Samithi for undertaking MSP Operations and to enhance their bargaining power in the villages and Mandals.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister took a decision for setting up of Grama, Mandala, Zilla and Rashtra Rythu Samanvaya Samithis through nomination by the Government and the following Committees are to be nominated:
