Mee Bhoomi Android App – Free Download

Mee Bhoomi is the web portal for the Andhra Pradesh Government. It handles all the issues and concerns as far as land records and other relevant accounts are concerned. The Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Department handle the whole thing.

Recently, the Andhra Pradesh State Government have released an app for both IOS and Android respectively. The app, not surprisingly, is called as Mee Bhoomi App. It is available at both the Apple Store and Play Store.

Mee Bhoomi App in detail

The Mee Bhoomi app on Play Store is in its first version itself, that is, 1.0. The app was last updated on the 3rd of July, 2015. Since then, there have been no updates released for the app despite people complaining left, right and centre.

To run it, you need to have these specifications:

  • An Android phone
  • Android version 2.2 or more
  • Enough space to install the app etc.

As of now, the app has been downloaded and installed more than a staggering 5 lakh times.

These are the permissions that the Mee Bhoomi App will ask you for before installing or running the app:

  • read the contents of your USB storage
  • modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
Storage
  • read the contents of your USB storage
  • modify or delete the contents of your USB storage

How to use the Mee Bhoomi App

On installing the app, the first screen that will load on your phone will look like this:

Tap on continue to proceed ahead. There, you can go for the setup where you can search for the Khatha records or anything relevant to that.

As you can see in the screenshot above, you will have to enter three specific credentials in order to continue ahead. Those three are as follows:

  • District
  • Block / Mandal
  • Village

After entering, you can tap on either Adangal or ROR-1B. The Adangal record is the extract from A-Register maintained at VAO office. On the other hand, ROR-1B is the Record of Rights register.

The Record of Rights register is maintained separately for each village at their respective headquarters, that is, the Sarpanch or the Panchayat’s office.

Similarly, Adangal is the extract of the A-Register maintained at the Village Administrative Officer.

After selecting either of the two options given in the previous situation, enter your plot number or the holding number, whichever is available at your disposal. You can see that it is present right on your:

  • Patta
  • Encumbrance Certificate etc.

Select the option that gets displayed after you enter your respective plot code or the holding number. For any more details or queries, contact your district headquarters or your Village Administrative Officer now.
